The Mpumalanga Tourism Expo is an annual tourism exhibition event hosted in September in the Mpumalanga Province in South Africa. The aim of the event is to promote domestic tourism, especially during Tourism Month and regional integration.
The Tourism Expo was launched in 2021 during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic. This event serves as a dynamic platform to showcase a diverse range of tourism products and services, acting as a crucial driver for the recovery and expansion of the tourism sector.
In addition, the Expo offers provincial tourism students a unique opportunity to engage with exhibitors, gaining insights into the industry and experiencing ‘tourism in action’ first-hand.
The 2025 Tourism Expo is scheduled to take place from 26 to 28 September 2025 at Riverside Mall in the City of Mbombela, Mpumalanga Province, South Africa.
